 Getting Here:

MRT: Take any line to Taipei Main Station 台北車站
Train: Take the Train North to Rui Fang Train Station 瑞芳站 (about 1hr)

Bus: Take the Keelung Transit bus opposite the Train Station to Jiu Fen @ NT$15, about 20 mins. When you get out of Ruifang Station, go across the road and look for the bus stop near Wellcome Minimart.

By Bus

From Taipei, take the Jiufen bus from the Adventist Hospital bus stop on Bade Road, east of the intersection with Fuxing Road. Alternatively, take the same bus from Songshan station or Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station Exit # 1 Cost : 90 NT$ (make sure to have the exact change), a little more than 1 hour.

9 Dec 2013: Take flight from Taipei to Kota Kinabalu

Taipei Main Station MRT exit M5, go straight until you cross the road then at you right hand side will see a door to enter the bus station.

 Head to the Airport Express Bus counter and ask for a ticket to the International Airport. This will cost around NTD $125 for an express bus ticket direct to the airport. The buses depart every 15-20 minutes depending on how full they are between the hours of 04:30 am and 23:20 pm. It will take between 40 and 80 minutes to reach Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport depending on traffic conditions. Enjoy the ride.

YANG MING SHAN NATIONAL PARK 陽明山國家公園 

Getting Here:

From exit M1 of Taipei Main Station, take bus 260 to Yang Ming Shan main bus station. From there, get a unlimited bus ride for leisure bus 108 (NT 60)  to go around Yang Ming Shan area.

OR

MRT: Take Danshui (Red) Line to Jian Tan Station 劍潭站 Exit 1 .From the MRT station, walked few minutes to get a bus to Yang Ming Shan (阳明山).

Bus: Red 5 or 126, 127, 128, 129, 130 to Yang Ming Shan Terminal then take leisure bus no. 108, which travels to various Yangmingshan National Park scenic spots. .

  BEI TOU 北投

 Getting Here:

Simply follow the sign board 

From Yang Ming Shan, take bus 230 to Xin Beitou MRT Station.

BEITOU HOT SPRING MUSEUM 北投溫泉博物館

Getting Here:

Turn left as you exit the MRT and then turn right along the river to get the DanShui Old Street.

1) Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall中正紀念堂

MRT: Take Danshui (Red) Line to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall station exit 5 .Come out from the MRT and you will pass through a mini park before getting to the main area.

Open: 9am to 6.30pm daily

Ticket: Free Entrance

National Theatre

There are  guard standing still inside the hall and every hour there will be a guard changing ceremony.

 2) Taipei 101:


MRT: Take MRT blue line Nangang line to Taipei City Hall Station 市政府站 Exit 2 
New: There will be MRT straight to Taipei 101 station.

• Bus: Take free shuttle bus with the sign “Free 101″. Hours of operation are 1100-2100, with buses coming every 15 minutes on weekends and every 20 minutes on weekdays or 15 mins walking distance to Taipei 101

MRT: Take Nangang Line to Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall station 国父纪念馆站 Exit 4 and  
            walk straight, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall will be on your right.
Open: 9am – 5pm daily (closed on Eve and Chinese New Year’s Day)
Sunday hours 9:00 am–12:00 pm, 1:00 pm–5:00 pm

Ticket: Free Entrance
