TAIPEI, TAIWAN (PART 3) - Yehliu, Keelung

Breakfast: Train's meal

 Trip to YEHLIU GEOLOGICAL PARK 野柳地质公园


MRT: Go to Taipei Station Exit M5 台北車站
Bus: Kuo Kuang 国光客运 take Bus 1815 to Yeliu 野柳 (1hr 15mins) NT96

Ticket: NT50 for adults and NT25 for children

Open: 8am to 6pm(Opening hours 0800 - 1700hrs) 


Remember to tell the bus driver you are going so that he can advise you where to alight... Once you alight at Yeliu bus stop, there is a junction at your right hand side, walk along the road about 5-10mins to Yeliu Geopark (野柳地质公园) 

Keelung 基隆廟口:

To go to Keelung (基隆), across the road (from where you alighted just now - Yeliu bus stop) in front of the convenient shop, take Keelung bus 基隆客运 (about 40mins, cost NTD$45). Maokou 廟口 is actually 1 or 2 bus stop before Keelung bus interchange (harbour). On the bus, once you see McDonald at your right, then prepare to alight at the next stop after the bus turned left.

We take train back to Taipei, because it's more comfortable and faster - NTD$40+ one way (about 35mins), railway station just beside Keelung bus interchange. If you prefer bus to Taipei, there are white Guoguang buses also going back to Taipei at NTD$50+

- Top Up Easy-card = NT$400 (for two cards)
- Ticket Yehliu Geopark = NT$50 x 2 = NT$100
- Bus Ticket to Yehliu = NT$96 x 2 = NT$ 192
- Eat = NT$ 785
